In Love With Life

A  Marooned meadow
Freeflying butterflies
The sun radiates
In its brightest light
With surprisingly soothing flurry
And sparkling gemstones
That decorate the prairie
We hurry
And play the secret game that we play

In love with life I am

The sound of pouring water
A freeflowing cascade
And we sit gazing at the edge
Listening silently the story unsaid
Our hearts set a conversation in nature’s refuge

In love with life I am

Moonlit sky
Sparkling chimes raying the heavenly light
You and I side by side
Accomapnying us is some exotic wine
And you whisper
‘I want to make you mine’

I say
In Love with Life I am.

  5. "Our hearts set a conversation in nature’s refuge", simply the best line for me. The lines preceding and succeeding that made it even better.
    A beautiful poem.
