A blissful twilight

Springing over above are the chirping birds
Mesmerizing me are the shades of twilight
Blue mixes with orange and the magic unreels
Cool, gentle wind toss back my hair
To whisper a sweet melody that is not yet revealed
I immerse myself in the music composed by the wind and the birdies chirping
And I miss the tune of John Mayer’s music
The melodic phrases that he sings to my plight
And says all we ever say is goodbye.

The mellowing sun peeks while settling behind the clouds
Forming their own pictures and stories
Creating mysteries and riddles for our reverie
My mind starts to speak to them
Questioning about the secrets, complexes and compounds of their tales
Lushness of green sprigs shelters the creatures of feathers under their shades
And beauty descends and beauty surrounds
What starts to intrigue me is what lies within, deep inside.

I try and sense, read and introspect
I feel nothing
Oh what bliss, all that I can take into account
Birdies queue up and bid me goodnight
And wind swirls me in magic abound
Emptying my mind it fills me with nothing
And when I think of it, it’s Lovely
The trees start to dance oh-so-mystic
Seems like there is a band that has choreographed it
Oh what beauty I must insist
Oh what beauty I must insist
Nature and nothingness
What bliss.

Under the Layers

Under the snug blanket
Wrapped is our benignity
Engulfed in the complexities, monotonies and edacities.

We are humans
That is our distinguished reality
Altruistic, benevolent, considerate are our synonymy.

Then why have we concealed the beauty of humanity
In the light of present day gluttony
And greed to reach the superiority.

Why can’t we walk with equality?
Which has become a myth and unreality
Because the good lays in covers and bad gains authority.

The magic undiscovered

 I have discovered a spell

A spell that can expel

Expel everything

Everything sour and bitter

That can make you jitter

Relinquish the sentiments that you have upheld since winter

Consequently your core will glitter

As the spell bears a power

To fill the hole that has made your peace wither

Employ the charm

The feeling of tranquility will smother.

Wondering what's the secret to my feeling of immense pleasure?

Excavate!

They lay deep within

They are enigmatical!

Spin them, play with them, bend them

They will be loyal

And mould and figure

The magic they will spill up

They will articulate,

Verbalize everything from your joys and pleasure

Disenthralling what you have gathered.

Splendor....

It’s the magic and power

Of Words and letters

And I have unearthed

The fundamentals and eventual way

Of my effective existence.

Stargaze

Tonight I will be warm
Because comforting me
Would be a snug blanket
A blanket of stars.

You pulled me by my hand
To fulfill the promise you made to me at the year’s end
The promise that will take my breath away
And inhale the magic of the wonders that stay on our guard at the end of the day.

As we lay down on the green grass of a deserted park
To experience the exquisite beauty of night’s sky
And lend our ears to the symphony played by the stars.

You slowly slip your fingers in mine
And tenderly they entwine
We exchange a look or two
And then look up to the surreal night
To live the moment embraced in warmth, beauty and woos.

Hanging in the night sky elegantly is a crescent moon
Reminds me of a piece of my jewellery that I lost last afternoon
Surrounding the blemished beauty
Are some hundred and fifty million gleaming marvels
Cheerfully they twinkle on our face.

Our eyes regard them in wonder
As we stargaze
Gleaming through the majestic mesh
They do a celestial dance, splendor
 Keeping us engage
And resist us from looking away.

Exquisite!
My heart sighs aloud
As if I am singing to the heavenly crowd.

The naughty ones
Pick the cues
From my expression of adoration
As I start to muse.

I believe I saw them send some signals
They winked at me and smiled in unison.

I turn my side
To admire the one
The one who got me here to revere.

For you are my star
That too a splendid one.

Yearning To Break Away

The summer sky goes blue
The colour of my soul turns into same hue
What is this yearning?
What is this recklessness?

It is the urge that I have felt for many years and over a decade
My subjects of envy are these free flying birds
Who own fewer enemies and very few expectations.

I want to break free
Repeats my core with relentless beatings
I want to break away calls my soul, screaming.

Break off to the lands where I could breathe
Or to the skies where there are no seams
A place where the lush green grass covers the hills
Making it look like a shiny display of unimpaired being
The waters of the place should be such
That they could make me feel like I belong to the place with grace and inherent luck.

To break free is what my heart cogitates these days
And searches for a tunnel that could let me penetrate
But I can’t see an exit
So I make a slight escape
To the rooftop over the attic.

I look up at the splendid sky to stargaze
Praying
That sometime, someday these constellations may engage
And find me a way for an escape
For my heart should find solace.
