As the pen awaits
the blank page stares
back at me
to spill out the bottled up
to extract what is waiting up
for me to realize
the sacredness
the feeling to sense the sanctity
of the practice that sets off healing
of the mind and soul,
Purgation is still concealing
as my pen awaits
and the blank page stares
back at me.

just let it out...it dont got to be pretty, just le tit out...it is why i write every single day...even if it is not pretty....
ReplyDeleteThanks Brian, i should try and let it out in one way or the other.. only i should feel better :)
DeleteOoh it can be really intimidating staring at that blank page can't it, I agree with Brian, let it out and worry about the words you leave behind afterwards. It all counts, it all deserves to leave your pen! Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThanks :).. You are right it can threaten peace within.. but i will not let that happen.
DeleteBlank page is an open canvas, waiting for your creation .... so just flow with your emotions and give your best shot :-)
ReplyDeleteKeep writing...the blank page will stare but then you'll find the way :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's not a lack of inspiration or ideas, it's an overabundance!
ReplyDeleteIn the courts of royalty, I often find, the dullards are particularly annoying. You have identified a major category of useless civil servants -- the blank page. You send a blank page out to fetch something and he gives you that stupid, vacant look, and you know he'll never get it right. If he comes back at all.
ReplyDeleteThere are – I am reliably told by royal household staffs the world over – just two sorts of princesses in the world. One goes to bed with a good book, the other with a good page. But good pages are – er – so hard to find!
